Glass beads interact with light through transmission — each bead passes the LED source through its body before releasing it, creating a warm, diffused glow very different from the sharp refraction of crystal. Strung at different heights in multiple groups, the white beads create a layered curtain of light overhead, each group contributing to a composition where the overall effect is airy and soft rather than heavy and formal. This fixture exists at a different scale from most chandeliers: the smallest configuration (3 groups, H127") needs 16 ft ceiling minimum, and the largest (8 groups, H325.2") needs 32 ft and above. These are grand staircase and commercial void fixtures — not suitable for any standard residential ceiling height.

A: The 4-group (H167.7") — it needs 19 ft minimum, so 20 ft works and gives 28 inches of clearance at the bottom. The 3-group (H127") also works in 20 ft with 113 inches of clearance.

This ended up being exactly what our entryway needed. It has a soft, warm glow without feeling too yellow, and the different globe sizes make it look a lot more high-end in person. It did take us a bit to get the heights just right, but once it was up, it looked beautiful.

June 12, 2026The chandelier is gorgeous and looks great over our stairs. I took off one star only because the installation took longer than expected, mostly because we were adjusting each drop to get the spacing right. Other than that, the quality and final look are very good.
